Carried out by Nick and assistant Naomi in 2016 (under contract from Ascot Group), this solid rock, double-sided wall is comprised of Pyrenees sandstone (variety, Yapeen).
Part of a kitchen/lounge/dining extension on an older weatherboard home, the project used varied rock sizes for an architectural finish.
The double-sided wall integrated the internal and external aspects of the house, giving a cosy, rustic effect of indoor-outdoor continuity. This job took 10 weeks to complete.
